The Microtek Isolator is used to block high cables and slow speeds so that the expansion of one part of the system does not interfere with or destroy other parts. Visual separation uses an LED (Light Emitting Device) and a transistor that blur the image to transmit information across the separation barrier - usually an air gap; in other words, data is transmitted using light instead of electrical signals, so there is no physical connection between the causes and the data lines, thus eliminating earth's ground problems and effectively preventing electrical surges and spikes from destroying other parts of the system. In addition, because visible separation uses light to transmit information to the edge of isolation, it also benefits the opportunity to protect itself from electrical and magnetic fields. This makes visual separation a viable solution in industrial areas where there may be significant electrical or magnetic fields.
